 I did some further research - read the documentation, talked to a sys admin.
msmtp doesn't provide sendmail functionality. It's more of a relay agent than a
full feature MTA. So it's not an alternative to sendmail. Maybe the other
programs are and in their case the use of alternatives is good. 
So I think that msmtp shouldn't use alternatives. For now i'll leave the
provides for sendmail. I'll think it over again. And post the package tomorow. 

The problem with libgsasl is that it also requires GNU Sishi for KERBEROS_V5.
It's not needed for msmtp but libgsasl will not be fully functional. The last
sishi release was from last year so maybe it's no longer developed and I'll have
no trouble maintaining it.
