Having an interface to the configuration used by ltsp5
would be nice, be it a simple shell script, a full featured
gui or a curse interface, but it seems to me that separating
configuration in text files should be the only prerequisite.
A simple shell script that sources /etc/sysconfig/ltsp5,
proposes to change the values, rewrite the file and
launch ltsp-initialize could be nice, but not a requirement
in my opinion.
As for eth0 being 192.168.0.x it is because it is the most
common setup (terminals in a private class C network).
Unless I am wrong, ltsp-initialize reads
/etc/sysconfig/networking-scripts/ifcfg-ethx:
# Source the network configuration
. /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-$DEV
