Now I made the following changes in the spec file and rebuild the rpms:
* added dist tag in the release
* Replaced %makeinstall with make install DESTDIR=%{buildroot}
* Removed     --add-category X-Fedora                         \
              --add-category Application                      \
* Bumped up the release number. So its' now sirius-0.8.0-6
