libdir = $(prefix)/lib/unicap$(pkg_version)/cpi is my main problem: 

  libdir = $(libdir)/unicap$(pkg_version)/cpi
  libdir := $(libdir)/unicap$(pkg_version)/cpi
  libdir += $(libdir)/unicap$(pkg_version)/cpi

are all three not working. Suggestions?
