SRPM URL: http://oron.fedorapeople.org/libhocr/libhocr-0.10.11-1.fc8.src.rpm

Description:
  LibHocr is a GNU Hebrew optical character recognition library. It scans
  document images, improve the image, analyses the page layout, recognises
  the characters and outputs the text. The output texts are now editable
  text, ready for your blog, word processor or any other use.

Koji build: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=719405

$ rpmlint RPMS/i386/libhocr-*fc8*rpm
libhocr-gtk.i386: W: no-documentation
libhocr-python.i386: W: no-documentation
5 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 2 warnings.

Notes:
 * Base package name same as upstream. Otherwise I would have chosen
   hocr (maybe with hocr-libs subpackage).
 * Split to:
   - libhocr (libraries and the command line utility)
   - libhocr-devel
   - libhocr-python (python bindings)
   - libhocr-gtk (a GUI app and sane plugin [both python])
 * Minor patches (in SRPM) sent upstream. When they are merged, we can
   remove the autoreconf in the %pre section.
 * Lot's of compiler warnings. Will have to work with upstream developer
   to help him improve quality.
 * x86_64 build fails during install:
   - This is due to the wrong install path of python modules
   - The offending lines are in bindings/python/Makefile.am
   - In the next build I'll patch it to separate the modules
     into python_sitelib and python_sitearch.
