As you can see, this package has been pushed to "stable" on Fedora 9, and it
will be in F-10.  I have fixed the packaging documentation to note that import
automatically does "make tag", and that you need to do "cvs up" after an import.
 I still think that the "cvs up" should be part of the import, but as long as
it's documented it's a trivial inconvenient extra step.  What causes trouble is
when key steps are undocumented :-(.
