on my system mock builds yields:

error: Installed (but unpackaged) file(s) found:
   /usr/lib64/python2.5/site-packages/python_Levenshtein-0.10.1-py2.5.egg-info
    Installed (but unpackaged) file(s) found:
   /usr/lib64/python2.5/site-packages/python_Levenshtein-0.10.1-py2.5.egg-info
RPM build errors:

It might be an error in my setup but I think that you should read
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/Python/Eggs
