Jim, although it's not actually technically required for your hardware, to avoid
broken dependencies you will also need the alsa-tools and alsa-tools-firmware
packages from:

https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F9/pending/alsa-tools-1.0.16-4.fc9

alsa-tools also has the "echomixer" tool which will be useful for your hardware.
