This looks like a joke to me. 676 is so small compared with the number 
of free software packages and command-line applications.

That's a bit strange, since in general debian maintainers tend to be
aware of those issues.

I don't have much to suggest. Tibbs is working on a guideline that should
prevent such use of names, but there is no guarantee that it will be agreed
by the FPC.
