Umm. The main package contains the serial version, which MUST be compiled with
--disable-parallel, especially since the mpich2 package does not currently obey
the guidelines.

However, even though it is a serial version, it can still use threads to
parallelize on shared-memory computers. So, please add --disable-parallel to
%configure.

And, scrap the note about libmpich in the description. I'll try to have a look
at the MPI stuff later on.
