Is there still a licensing issue with FreeCAD using Open_CASCADE ?

It appears that Ubuntu is going to provide FreeCAD in the repository in one of
their upcoming releases. Is Fedora willing to follow suit ?

If not, could someone please approach Open CASCADE about resolving this issue ?
The holdup seems to be more pragmatic than actual, at least according to what
I read here:
http://www.opencascade.org/org/forum/thread_15859

I would really, really like to see FreeCAD available in Fedora without me
building it. Linux really , really needs a tool like this.

Aside: I'd like to see this bug reopened in F12 or rawhide. Out of respect for
the process I won't do that, but I'd like to see someone else do it.

Thanks for listening.
