Would something like:
BuildRequires: ghostscript
BuildRequires: /usr/bin/latex
be sufficient for both EL and fedora?

Thanks - I'll post a new src.rpm once the latex issue is fixed.
I'm currently attempting to delve more deeply into the circular dependency
issue as well, but that will probably take a large chunk of time.
