Build flags were already correctly honoured, the build log is now more verbose.

Updated package:
 %build
-CXXFLAGS=$RPM_OPT_FLAGS ./build.sh
+MAKEFLAGS="verbose=1" CXXFLAGS=$RPM_OPT_FLAGS ./build.sh

Also added new entries to changelog and a few comments.
