Sometimes these discussions astound me. "Hey, broken Makefiles exist!
Let's stop using smp_mflags everywhere." Can common sense not apply
here?
If the Makefile is trivially broken, fix it, send patches upstream, move
on. If the Makefile is broken in some overwhelmingly complex manner,
ignore it, file bug upstream, document the fact in %build, move on.
