Could you please avoid querying the rpmdb during rpmbuild?  That is generally a
bad thing to do.

# Ensure that a compatible libperl is installed
Requires: perl(:MODULE_COMPAT_%(eval "`%{__perl} -V:version`"; echo $version))
Would this standard perl compat syntax be suitable here?
