There is a known problem with getting it to boot, see bug 119386.

It has been reported that booting a FC1 CD and then switching to a FC2T2 CD 
before it loads the kernel can work, I've never tried it.

I used the smart boot manager (above URL) to make a kick-start floppy that 
would jump to the CD.
