Graphical boot isn't so graphical

So I just did an install of Severn, on a system w/ an ATI All in Wonder 
7500 Pro... I did not get a graphical boot, although it's enabled in 
/etc/sysconfig/init  and it's not disabled in grub.conf.  What could be 
keeping the graphical boot from happening?
