custom package selection

Why is sendmail 'mandatory' ?  Shouldn't ONE of postfix or sendmail be
mandatory.  I mean, I certainly have no problems on my systems that I've
uninstalled sendmail from (after installing postfix and running
redhat-switch-mail).
