Well supported, reliable NICs for Redhat Linux/Fedora?

I have a dozen or so machines running Linksys cards. I've purchased most
of them for about $5-$10US, and some were free after promotions and
rebates. In the past 3 years, one has died.
I didn't have as much luck with Realtek 8139 based cards and have seen 4
die in the past two years. Don't remember the manufacturer however.
