openoffice 1.1.0 installation error

I am getting the following message while trying to install openoffice 1.1.0
The language of Openofficeorg 1.0.2 found in directory /home/rvr/.openoffice 
is different from the language of the update version. TO abort click cancel. 
to install Openoofficeorg 1.1.0 in a new directory click ok.

Any idea how to fix this?
