still unclear about updates versus rawhide

Not exactly.

updates are for the current Fedora release.

rawhide is head-of-development stream.

There will be stuff in rawhide that isn't in updates. It's just
as part of the fast moving model and rolling forward with more
bugfixes, enhancements, etc, there will be much *more* stuff in
updates for current Fedora releases than there were for previous
Red Hat Linux releases, for example.

For the beta stream, they'll be pretty much one and the same.
