When I upgraded to beta1 from RH 9, I was using CDs that were starting to
go bad (about 15 hours after burning them!), and I had the same problem, but
was able to finish the upgrade by restarting the installation, selecting
"upgrade existing installation", and the install picked up where it left off.
I was getting sporadic read errors, and it was able to successfully read the
same package the second time. I had to restart twice, since I got the same
type of error on a later package, also.

This is normal. After doing the install, I got the same warning when adding
packages later. You can get rid of it by going to

http://www.redhat.com/solutions/security/news/publickey.html

and downloading the GPG key 897da07a.txt under the "Beta Package Signing"
section, and importing it with "rpm --import 897da07a.txt". This isn't why
the installer aborted.
