RH10 multimedia support

I would just like to point out, if anyone from Red Hat is listening, do you
see what this trouble is all about?  Do you get my point now?

These guys are pulling their hair out trying to get BASIC MULTIMEDIA support
on their Red Hat system!

Shall I rest my case?

Perhaps your link /dev/dvd isn't configured proper.
Try to adjust this directly in xine (viedeo input, device /dev/scd1).
Another possibility is that the DVD is CSS-type, and you have to install
libdvdcss.
