You CAN create the dep file easily enough, ya know. "man depmod". Now,
if after THAT is run, "nevermind".
{^_^}  Maybe Arjan is trying to teach Linux experimenters some of what
       they should know by forcing them to learn. {^_-} (It makes a
       good story, doesn't it?)
