Cannot boot from a reiserfs partition

I booted from the FC2test2 CD with "linux xfs reiserfs". I installed /
to a new reiserfs partition.

When I boot I just something about that the kernel can't find a valid
ext3 partition. Is this a bug or a *feature*? If it is intentional I
would sincerely suggest that it should be possible to boot from reiserfs
since it out performs ext3 greatly for most purposes.
