After doing a complete install of FC2-Test2 I rebooted and it hung
right after initializing the firewire device [OK] while displaying
"Detecting hardware" in the gui. After a while I hit hard reset and
while booting it died with error:

kernel BUG at fs/proc/generic.c:664!
invalid operand: 0000 [#1]

EIP is at remove_proc_entry+0xa6/0xf6

This is a P4 with a recent motherboard with the built in ethernet,
sound, etc.

Thanks,
