yum is noarch.  Besides, it should be (may be) already installed since is is 
part of FC2T2.

You mentioned having to delete some stuff before things ran correctly.  Are 
you running kde?  There was some strangeness to kde from a fresh install but 
the latest qt* and kde* updates from rawhide (development tree) seem to fix 
things so they are fine now.
