I recently updated to FC2 Test2 and then I immediately updated the 249
out of date applications. After updating I rebooted the computer and I
have encountered 2 problems:
RHN:
I do not have the RHN icon on the panel. When I try to run the RHN
configuration under System Settings nothing happens. When I run RHN and
RHN Alert Icon under System Tools, nothing happens
Yum:
When I try to run Yum I get the following error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/yum", line 22, in ?
import yummain
File "/usr/share/yum/yummain.py", line 22, in ?
import clientStuff
File "/usr/share/yum/clientStuff.py", line 18, in ?
import rpm
ImportError: /usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/rpmmodule.so: undefined
symbol: rpmdsBT
When I run: rpm -qa | grep rpm the results are:
rpm-python-4.3.1-0.1
redhat-rpm-config-8.0.28-1.1.1
redhat-java-rpm-scripts-1.0.3-2
rpm-build-4.3.1-0.1
rpm-devel-4.3.1-0.1
Any help would be appreciated.
Scott
