First Thoughts on FC2T2 on Thinkpad T40 and Sound issues

I just tried accessing my cdrw/dvd-rom drive and it's kaput. For who
knows what reason, /dev/hdc ( DVD/CDRW ) was not being recognized as a
valid block device anymore. I tried mounting the drive under /dev/scd0,
recreating /dev/hdc using mknod but still no luck. Also made sure
ide/scsi emulation was enabled.

I'm going to get a little daring and do a completely new install of FC2T2
now so we'll see how that goes.

Thanks
PJ
