amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such device
amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such device
sox: Can't open output file '/dev/dsp': No such device

*This is all that was in modprobe.conf.*

alias eth0 tulip

include /etc/modprobe.conf.dist
alias usb-controller uhci-hcd

*What I mean doesn't work is that it produces no sound.
