That's a bug in your version of Mozilla.  The x-remote code was fixed 
only a few weeks ago, so updating to Mozilla 1.7b probably won't help.  
Try a Mozilla nightly build instead.

Alternatively, you could try Firefox and Thunderbird.  The RPMs from 
http://fedora.us include these x-remote fixes.
