Mozilla no longer starts (follow-up)

A follow-up to my own message.

I ended up resolving my issue by using rpm to forcibly erase all mozilla
RPMs,
FTP'ing the latest from a mirror site, and forcibly rpm'ing them in again.

Now all is fine in the land of Oz.
