rpm Segfault

I usually have better success using valgrind to look at these kind of problems.
For example:

valgrind --leak-check=yes --leak-resolution=high --num-callers=8 --logfile-fd=19 
rpm -ivh abc.rpm  19> log.txt

Then look in log.txt
