specifying NIC driver at bootup

I have having a problem trying to install FC2 test1.  The system I have as a 
3C940 NIC on the motherboard.  This is supported by the sk98lin driver but 
this is not recognized by the installer.

Under FC1, the installer prompted me to select a driver but this is not 
occuring on FC2 --

Is there a way to specify the NIC driver to use with a kernel boot parameter?
