Wierdness with Internet

More information... I downgraded to kernel 2.6.3-1.81 and now the
internet connectivity is operational again.  I also tried 2.6.3-1.96 and
it had the same name resolution problems as 2.6.3-1.100 which is the
latest version I have installed.
