My board has the Sil3114.  The kernels provided by Fedora come with a 
driver that is not compiled, but once compiled, It Works For Me (tm).

(You have to turn on the "allow drivers not expected to compile" option, 
then select the driver from the libata-based set.  But again, appears to 
work for me.  Just the lack of support from the stock kernel makes it 
hard to install to hard drives off of that controller, so I've picked up 
a different one.)
