Ever tried using rpm --aid? Assuming you installed rpmdb-fedora on the
source system and setup /etc/rpm/macros.solve correctly something like
"rpm --root <install root> --aid rpm-<version>.rpm" will render a more
minimal install than the "Minimal Install" with anaconda. Something like
200MB for FC 1 IIRC.
