yum and up2date unexpectedly quit (librpmio issue, I think)

Two questions:
1. Where did you get glibc-2.3.4-16 -- I only see glibc-2.3.3-16 on
Rawdide
2. How do you install glibc manually -- I get the "need GLIBC 2.3.4"
error when trying to use rpm
