Gnucash won't start

Well, I did a manual fix on gnucash by downloading the
previous rpm 1.8.8-1 at Fedora updates, then opening a
terminal as root and the command "rpm -Uvh --force
*.rpm" in the drectory where I'd saved that single
package.
I'll happily wait for the next update :)
