development/ is always a problem though. Perhaps filesystem
snapshotting could be used to always serve a consistent view of the
tree without expanding the required disk space much.

To make a consistent, installable (via anaconda) development tree,
could one use the comps.xml or other metadata to determine what
packages need to exist for the install to succeed, along with making
sure initrd.img/.buildstamp and stage2.img/.buildstamp versions are in
sync?
