The output is the same for "/dev/lirc"

and for "/dev/lirc/lirc0"
irrecord: readlink() failed for "/dev/lirc/lirc0"
irrecord: Not a directory
irrecord: could not create lock files
irrecord: could not init hardware (lircd running ? --> close it, check 
permissions)

Do I need to still load this even tho its a USB reciever?
