FC2 test2 is a BAD joke

I see a kudzu related problem also (ASUS SK8V) and suspect it may be related 
to the 3Com 3C940 (sk98lin supported).  Take a look at 
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=118546

The one time that the bootup did not hang, the 3C940 did not initialize.
