If the Monitor does not support DDC then the HSYNC ranges are #'ed out,
an update version of the libraries that have fixed the problem will be
available in FC2.

However this just forces the resolution to 640*480, so I'm not sure this
is the problem your having.

The only thing I can suggest, is trying to update your system (yum -y
update) at the command line, make sure you have all latest stuff, and
then try system-config-display --reconfigure to try and set it up again.

That may help, but not sure.
