This is just a general post for people reading this thread, not  
directed at anymody.

firestarter is a good easy to use gui firewall configuration tool for  
those that have poked holes (or disabled) the firewall set up by  
Anaconda.

firestarter will also set up NAT for you if you so desire.

To test your firewall -

Keep in mind that a firewall will not protect you from exploits in  
ports you have open to the public, which is why you should block as  
much as possible.

Firestarter is available in Fedora.us for FC2

I have a rebuild of the Fedora.us firestarter src.rpm for FC3 at  
http://mpeters.us/yum/fedora/3/i386/RPMS.yjl/ (it's just the FC2  
src.rpm rebuilt with rpmbuild --rebuild )
