FC3RC5 boot hung

Greetings;

Its been hung, but not crashed, the keyboard still works & all that, 
but I've been looking at the "Configuring kernel parameters" line on 
screen now for about half an hour.  Anybody know what I should kill 
when I reboot to the rescue disk?  Also, which dir, in rc3.d or 
rc5.d?
