xorg-x11 - setting options question

hi

testing the composite extension with xorg-x11 i have the question
if there is any way to change x11 config options on the commandline ?
say, in xorg.conf i have

Section "Extensions"
 Option "Composite" "Enable"
EndSection

now i want to disable this option without re-editing this config file and
restarting x. is this somehow possible?
