Hmm. Maybe not. The actual problem seems to be that it can't find cc1plus.
/usr/libexec/gcc/i386-redhat-linux/3.4.1/cc1plus
exists, but not
/usr/libexec/gcc/i386-redhat-linux/3.4.2/cc1plus
If I
# rpm -e cpp;yum install cpp
The whole 3.4.1 and 3.4.2 directories go away.
