I noticed that the bttv tuner driver has changed some how. I'm
getting the following status message during the loading of the usbvision
driver. The tuner module still works just fine, but since I was trying
to debug someone's problem. I noticed the message in their logfile.

Oct 3 14:44:20 www kernel: tuner: Ignoring new-style parameters in
presence of obsolete ones
Oct 3 14:44:20 www kernel: saa7113_read 0xC8
Oct 3 14:44:20 www kernel: saa7113: status=c8
Oct 3 14:44:20 www kernel: saa7113_read 0x11
Oct 3 14:44:20 www kernel: saa7113: version=11
Oct 3 14:44:20 www kernel: saa7113: attaching SAA7113 at 0x4a
Oct 3 14:44:20 www kernel: saa7113: attached to adapter usbvision #0
Oct 3 14:44:20 www kernel: tuner: chip found at addr 0xc2 i2c-bus
usbvision #0
Oct 3 14:44:20 www kernel: tuner: type set to 17 (Philips NTSC_M (MK2))
by usbvision #0

What I don't understand is I'm running the same kernel and have not
updated from yum, to a newer version of the kernel. I noticed this
problem about last Friday.

Again, I can not explain how this is possible. Still using the 541
kernel. The kernel would have to be upgraded for the tuner module to
be updated.
