This issue was discussed when the mozilla not being selectable at boot
was discussed.
I ran an md5sum on the downloade images and the 5 discs came back
normally with the program on linux.
The issue is related to the 2.6 kernel and such. If you pad the discs
with at least 150 kb, the discs should checksum alright. As why disc 1
passed, it was just a "lucky lotto winner".
Read the replies from Alan for straight from the source explanation in
the mozilla thread recently discussed.
I burned disc 2 through rescue twice and also wasted two blanks with k3b
buffer problems, use a slower speed.
This tool for checking the media needs to either be provided on a disk
with the 2.4 kernel, with ide-scsi loaded or disabled for the final
release. download congestion or silver coasters plenty will result
otherwise. :-)
