anyone able to use lftp after today's updates?

I try 'lftp mirrors.kernel.org' - and it just sits there (without
giving a 'lftp >' prompt)

But the cursor blinks wierdly. This happens when lftp is invoked in
both xterm and gnome-terminal.  Anyone else see this?

lftp was last updated:

lftp-3.0.6-2                                  Tue 21 Sep 2004 10:21:24 PM CDT

But I'm sure I've used it since then. So perhaps a xorg-x11 breakage (
I have today's rawhide updates)?
